Construction Project Manager with Electrical Expertise

National Power is seeking a motivated Construction Project Manager with a strong background in construction and electrical expertise. This role will lead and oversee all phases of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring coordination across multiple trades and delivering quality results on schedule and within budget. The Project Manager will work closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate communication and address project needs. Other responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of construction projects from ground-up development through final completion
Supervise and coordinate with various trades, including mechanical, fire protection, concrete, and others, to ensure seamless project execution
Oversee the work of the Electrical Contractor, ensuring all electrical scope is completed to specification, on time, and in compliance with safety and code requirements
Conduct regular site inspections and meetings to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain project timelines
Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources efficiently
Ensure adherence to all regulatory, safety, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to superintendents and site personnel
Collaborate with team members to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in commercial or industrial construction project management
Strong background in electrical systems, preferably with hands-on experience or prior responsibility for electrical scope
Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated experience as a superintendent or in a supervisory role on construction sites
Familiarity with construction safety protocols and building codes
Ability to interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50–75 pounds
Capable of standing, walking, bending, twisting, stooping, crouching, squatting, and climbing ladders or scaffolding for extended periods
Comfortable working in various environments, including construction sites, rooftops, confined spaces, and office settings
Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required (e.g., hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, harnesses)
Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and inclement weather
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to handle tools and equipment
Prolonged periods of standing and walking on uneven surfaces
Good visual acuity to read technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals, and to perform detailed work
Ability to sit at a desk, type, and talk for extended periods (for office-based tasks)
Work Environment: The role involves working outdoors on construction sites and elevated structures, which may expose the Project Manager to varying weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and wind.

This role may involve travel to various job sites. Candidates must have the ability to drive long distances, and overnight stays may be necessary based on project location
